Hong Kong Disneyland to get Marvel characters, report says
Marvel superheroes will have a home at Hong Kong Disneyland.
The theme park, which is 52 percent owned by the city’s government, will add an area for the Marvel characters, CRIENGLISH.com reports. The Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang made the statement.

This will be the first Disney resort which will have any presence of the characters on site. While merchandise is sold at all Disney locations, the characters in Florida are based at Universal Studios from an agreement made with Marvel before it was purchased by the Walt Disney Co.
And there is no area in Disneyland or California Adventure in California, because there are no designated theme areas that have been built. Remember, Disney does not just put characters out there, they want an area where they can tell a story.
