‘The Little Mermaid’ scheduled to come out in HD this fall

The Diamond Edition of “The Littler Mermaid” will be released Oct. 1 on Blu-ray Combo Pack and HD Digital, Disney announced.

This is the first time the movie has been released in High Definition.

The movie, released in 1989, is about a mermaid, Ariel, who wishes to live among the humans. But she gets involved with the evil sea witch Ursula, who promises to make her dreams come true – for a price.
