New Avengers virtual reality experience coming to Downtown Disney

A new Avengers virtual reality story will be coming to The VOID at the Downtown Disney in Disneyland starting Oct. 18, 2019, Disney announced.

In Avengers: Damage Control you will be able to suit up, step into the action and team up alongside the Doctor Strange, the Wasp, Ant-Man and others.

Shuri enlists you to test her latest prototype design: Emergency Response Suits, created with a proprietary blend of Wakandan and Stark Industries technology. When sinister forces intervene, guests at the Wakandan Outreach Centers will soon find themselves recruited into action.

This adventure is the latest created by ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s immersive entertainment studio in collaboration with The Void. The experience pairs virtual reality with walk-through experiences surrounded by 3D imagery and physical effects like heat and wind.
