Disney World changing Hollywood Studios FastPass+ tiers
Disney is making adjustments to the FastPass+ tiers at Hollywood Studios for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’ Edge.
What this means is that when making FastPasses you will be more limited to which attractions you will be able to make reservations for.
Starting August 29, a majority of the rides will be placed in what’s called Tier 1, the remaining attractions will be Tier 2. When making reservations you will be able to select one attraction from Tier 1 and two attractions from Tier 2 a day.
Under the current system, Tier 1 attractions include Toy Story Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash. Tier 2 includes other attractions like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, Star Tours, as well as shows like Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage.
When the changes take place this is what the tier structure will look like.
Tier 1
- Toy Story Mania
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Rock’n’ Roller Coaster
- Tower of Terror
Tier 2
- Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
- Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage
- Disney Junior Dance Party!
- Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
- Muppet Vision 3D
- Voyage of the Little Mermaid
- A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
- Fantasmic!
At this point, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, won’t be using FastPass+ when the land opens.
