‘Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars’ coming July 26
Set your DVR now for what might be the best thing you’ll see during the summer TV drought: “Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars.” The one-hour special episode premieres on the Disney Channel Saturday, July 26, at 9 p.m.

The story follows the plot of the original Star Wars movie, with Phineas and Ferb living next door to Luke Skywalker when they find themselves caught up in the plan to blow up the Death Star. Isabella plays the role of wise-cracking pilot; Candace appears as a low-level stormtrooper out to bust the rebels; and of course Agent P is set to foil the evil plans of Dr. Darth Enshmirtz.
Expect cameos from Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, among others.
“Phineas and Ferb” joins an illustrious line of animated television shows to devote full-length episodes to Star Wars, including: Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, Robot Chicken and Family Guy.
