2 Disneyland hotel quick service restaurants getting revamped

Two hotel quick-service locations at the Disneyland Resort are getting makeovers and a new pool bar area is being added, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

The Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel will soon close and re-open in early 2019 as the Tangaroa Terrace Bar & Grill.

While the 1950s Tiki-inspired design will remain, there will be a new outdoor bar and refreshed patio. New light fixtures made of fishing floats and netting, a tropical mural and bamboo accents will be added to the interior of the bar and grill.

There will be a dedicated service window for various coffee selections in the morning and the  Dole Whip throughout the day. The grill will offer options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an open-air marketplace for quick bites.

At the Grand Californian Hotel & Space, White Water Snacks will close and re-open later this year with a new look. In the meantime, the Hearthstone Lounge will offer grab-and-go food and beverage options.

In addition, there will be a  new pool bar opening in spring 2019 at the Grand Californian. The pool bar area will keep with the hotel’s signature Arts and Crafts design with natural boulder stonework and clinker bricks. A trellis structure will provide shade, and a variety of new lounge and table seating will also be available.
