Disney removes bronze bust of Bill Cosby from Hollywood Studios

Disney has removed a likeness of Bill Cosby from Hollywood Studios this week.

The bronze bust of Cosby was part of the Disney’s Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza. There has been an online petition seeking the removal of the bust for a few months.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney announced the statue would be removed after the park closed Tuesday night, offering no explanation.
Cosby has been accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct, including allegations he drugged and raped them.

Cosby, 77, has never been criminally charged. But, according to documents obtained by the Associated Press, Cosby testified in 2005 he got Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex.
