Work begins to transform Epcot for Flower & Garden Festival

Work has already begun at Epcot to transform the park into a botanical haven for the 2018 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

Plantings have started to be laid down around the walkways connecting Future World and World Showcase. Other areas have been blocked off from view as work begins for the children’s playground and the variety of gardens throughout the park.

The festival kicks off Feb. 28, 2018, and lasts through May 28, 2018. The event will have 15 outdoor kitchens, dozens of Disney-themed topiaries, 16 gardens, outdoor concerts and a scavenger hunt.
