Collectible Star Wars Legion Stormtrooper helmets available now
One of the many collectibles introduced at D23 last month is now available online: A series of artsy Stormtrooper helmets that recall the Vinylmation characters.
The collectible helmets were inspired by the Star Wars Legion Helmet project, in which artists from across the Disney universe were recruited to transform Stormtrooper helmets into original pieces of art. The collectible versions are 2-1/2 inches tall each and are sold in blind boxes, which means you don’t get to pick your helmet design from the eight included in the series.
The collectible helmets are available now at the Disney Store online for $12.95 each or $207.20 for a tray of 16 individual boxes. Purchases of both are limited to two per guest.
The Legion project has turned 300 helmets into pieces of art since early 2014, which leaves a lot of room for this collectible series to expand in the future.
