‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ now 6th on all-time list of highest grossing films in history
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will finish the weekend with an estimated $88.3 million box office take, according to studio estimates, and has now made $740 million in the U.S. after 17 days of being in the theaters.
It has also leaped to sixth on the all-time list of worldwide release gross with a take of $1.51 billion.
“Avatar” still holds the domestic and worldwide titles, but not by much. Avatar has taken in domestically $760.5 million and $2.788 billion worldwide.
