Disney begins casting for ‘High School Musical 4’
Is there someone in your life who was born to be a Wildcat? Now is their chance.
Ten years after “High School Musical” became a sensation, the Disney Channel has confirmed that is will produce a fourth movie in the franchise. To find its new generation of East High Wildcats, Disney will conduct a nationwide casting search this spring.
“High School Musical is part of Disney Channel’s DNA,” Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, said in a release. “It embodies all that we stand for. As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we’re excited to announce ‘the start of something new’ — as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the ‘High School Musical’ franchise.”
Information on casting calls to be scheduled this spring will be posted at www.disneychannel.com/opencall.
