Star Wars stage show at Hollywood Studios to close for refurbishment in middle of October
The Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away stage show at Hollywood Studios in Disney World will be closed starting Oct. 10, 2017 for refurbishment, according to the Disney World website.
The show introduces the various characters from the Star Wars Universe with them recreating famous movie vignettes and finishes with a roll call on the stage of all the characters.
The stage and hub area in front of the Chinese Theater has undergone extensive work during the past year.
According to WDWMagic.com, the semi-permanent stage will be swapped out with a mobile version that can be rolled in and out each day, clearing additional viewing space for the nighttime fireworks.
The world should be complete by Oct. 22.
