Disney Cruise Line Unveils 2027-2028 Itineraries With Returns to New York, New Panama Ports
Disney Cruise Line unveiled its fall 2027 and spring 2028 itineraries Tuesday, outlining plans to expand sailings across the Caribbean, Mexico, and Southeast Asia while introducing maiden calls in Panama.
The schedule also marks the cruise line’s return to New York City for the first time since 2023.
Early bookings open Aug. 31, 2026, for select loyalty program members, with sales opening to the general public Sept. 8.
“Disney Cruise Line is proud to be a leader in family cruising, helping our guests create lasting memories in even more destinations,” said Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations. Wilson added that the line is pleased to return to favorite ports while introducing new destinations in Panama and expanding its Caribbean routes.
Following its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will dock in New York in late September 2027 for seven voyages. The itineraries include four- to seven-night sailings to Bermuda, as well as New England and Canadian ports, including Boston, Massachusetts; St. John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The upcoming season will also feature initial transit stops through the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic. A November 2027 voyage from San Diego to Galveston, Texas, will make a maiden call in Fuerte Amador, Panama. A return westbound voyage in March 2028 will make an inaugural stop in Colon, Panama.
Regional Deployment Highlights
- Florida Ports: The Disney Destiny will homeport in Port Canaveral for the first time, joining the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. Ships operating out of Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale will offer Bahamian and Caribbean routes, with select sailings stopping at Disney’s private island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
- Puerto Rico: The Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will offer Southern Caribbean itineraries out of San Juan, featuring stops in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, and Dominica.
- West Coast & Texas: The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will run three- to seven-night Mexican Riviera and Baja sailings from San Diego before the Magic repositions to Galveston for the winter season.
- Singapore: The Disney Adventure will continue short itineraries out of Singapore, adding Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new port of call starting in late December 2026.
The line will also bring back its themed autumn and winter sailings, including “Halloween on the High Seas” starting in September 2027 and holiday-themed “Very Merrytime” cruises running through November and December.
