Disney World Monorail door falls off train after being hit by scooter, report says

A Disney World Monorail door was knocked off a train Tuesday after being hit by a motorized scooter, according to a report on Fox 35 Orlando. 

The train was stationary at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. No one was injured and no individuals were in danger.

On Instagram @Stalecupcakes shared a photo showing the door handing off below the station.

A Disney spokesperson told Fox 35,  “the door was being repaired, after it was hit by a motorized scooter when a passenger was boarding the stationary train.”

In January 2018 a Disney World Monorail door popped open in mid-ride between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Epcot frightening passengers. No one was injured in that incident.
