Disney rebrands online shopDisney to Disney Store
shopDisney, Disney’s online shopping site, has officially rebranded back to the Disney Store this morning.
In 2017, Disney changed the online component of its online retail presence to shopDisney from the Disney Store when the company started changing its brick and mortar stores, most of which have since closed with many opening inside of Target stores. At the time the online component greatly expanded its offerings to include various Disney brands and even some subbrands.
Now, Disney is changing the name back and has not yet officially released a statement as to why. But a look at the website shows that the subsections of its many franchises are now labeled under the website as Shop Disney, Shop Pixar, Shop Marvel, Shop Star Wars and Shop National Georgraphic.
