Disney Parks wants you to dress like a Princess this week
Disney is inviting guests at all of its parks to Disney bound in outfits inspired by their favorite female Disney characters for the International Day of the Girl on Oct. 11, 2018.
This effort is part of Disney’s “Dream Big, Princess” campaign that uses stories of fictional heroines and real-life role models to encourage kids around the globe to follow their dreams.
Make sure that you check the guidelines for dressing at each of the parks, before you do so.
- Walt Disney World Resort Attire Guidelines
- Disneyland Resort Attire Guidelines
- Disneyland Paris Resort Attire Guidelines
- Shanghai Disney Resort Attire Guidelines
A great option for dressing up us Disney Bounding, in which you take color schemes, patterns and accessories to represent the characters. Here are some places for inspiration: Disney Style or Forever Disney.
In addition, the premiere of the #DreamBigPrincess video series takes place from Oct. 10 to Nov. 28, 2018 and for each like or share of a public video or photo with #DreamBigPrincess on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, Disney Worldwide Services will donate $1 to Girl Up, the United Nations Foundation’s program supporting girls’ leadership and empowerment (minimum donation: $500,000/maximum donation: $1 million).
