Mickey, Minnie Fab 50 statues dedicated to Disney World cast members

The Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse golden statues at Magic Kingdom, which are part of the 50th-anniversary celebration, have been dedicated to the Walt Disney World cast members.

In a ceremony with cast members, President of Walt Disney World Resort Jeff Vahle and George A. Kalogridis, President of Segment Development and Enrichment for Disney Parks and former Disney World president dedicated the statues with a plaque.

THESE STATUES OF MICKEY MOUSE AND MINNIE MOUSE ARE DEDICATED TO CELEBRATE CAST MEMBERS PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.

Disney next week will celebrate the 50-year Cast with a special party for them and wrap the new distribution of the 50th anniversary EARidescent nametags, Vahle said.
