Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise will reopen in July with updated experience
The Jungle Cruise at Disneyland will reopen July 16, 2021, with new characters, updated experiences, and some new jokes from the witty skippers. Meanwhile, the Magic Kingdom version at Disney World, where guests are watching the changes take place, will be complete this summer.
Progress continues at both parks as Imagineers build on the original story, “The new scenes will heighten our skippers’ legendary comedic tone, beginning with a trapped safari party that finds itself up a tree after their journey goes awry. Unexpected scenarios along the way will give the jungle and animals the last laugh,” Disney previously announced.
Trader Sam’s newest venture has been dropped into the jungle. Trader Sam has found a way to convert the new Lost & Found location into something more profitable for the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd. The Jungle Cruise appears to be going the route of all the best rides – ending with a gift shop.
Disney is now providing a bigger backstory to the Jungle Cruise attraction featuring Alberta Falls, the granddaughter of world-renowned Dr. Albert Falls.
