Beatrix restaurant coming to Disney Springs, replacing Bongos

Beatrix, featuring healthy food options will be opening its first restaurant in Florida at Disney Springs West Side, Disney announced this morning.

Owned by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (a Chicago-based restaurant group), the restaurant is will be a combination coffeehouse and grab-and-go market featuring healthy food options including vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan along with fresh-squeezed juice cocktails.

The restaurant will take the place of Bongos, which is expected to close by the end of the month. Bongos, which serves Cuban-style cuisine, is one of the oldest restaurants at Disney Springs. Its lease is ending after 22 years.
