New Disney Parks Play app now on pre-order

The new Disney Parks Play mobile app being touted as a way to keep guests entertained while waiting in line is now available for pre-order and should be available for download this summer.

Disney is always looking for ways to keep people entertained, especially when waiting in line at a theme park. They have tried interactive lines. Now they are going to take it up a notch letting people use their own mobile devices.

The Disney Parks mobile app is designed for those going to Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

This app does not replace My Disney Experience for Walt Disney World or the Disneyland app used for planning. It is designed for entertainment purposes.

The app will allow guests to play with family and friends while waiting in line for some attractions. There will be some interaction in some queues and games designed to bring stories alive.

You will also be able to earn and share digital collectibles and earn experiences in the app and across the parks. There will also be Disney trivia on the app.

The app is available on at the App Store and Google Play.
