Marvel Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge comic books will provide background of land

Marvel is planning on releasing a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge comic in April tying into the new lands opening at Disneyland in June and Disney World in the fall.

The five-issue miniseries focuses on the infamous black market located at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, according to StarWars.com. This new series will help provide all with some more background of the new lands.

“Our series will give fans the chance to visit Black Spire Outpost months ahead of voyaging to Batuu in person. Armed with top-secret sketches and information from Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm, we are keeping this authentic to the spirit of this rich new setting. I’d tell you more, but I already have the death sentence on 12 systems….” writer Ethan Sacks told StarWars.com.

In this immersive land Star Wars characters and their stories will come to life. Two major attractions anchor the new land. On one ride you fly the Millennium Falcon on an adventure. The second attraction puts you in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
