The latest aerial photos of construction taking place of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios gives everyone a good idea of the lay out of the new 14-acre land.
From above you can start to see the outlines of the buildings and the pathways around the Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. The Disney World version will open in Fall 20198. In an interview with Barron’s Disney CEO Bob Iger said the Disneyland version will open in June.
In this immersive landStar Wars characters and their stories will come to life. The main entrance to the area is from the new Grand Avenue area of Hollywood Studios. Another entrance will be from the new Toy Story Land. Two major attractions anchor the new land. On one ride you fly the Millennium Falcon on an adventure. The second attraction puts you in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
