7 photos of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge November construction

The Black Spires Outpost inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios is shaping up. With the opening of the new Star Wars land a year away, we are starting to see completed structures.

The new Star Wars land is scheduled to open at Walt Disney World in late 2019. The Disneyland version is expected to open in the summer 2019.

The land will have full size replicas of X-wing fighters, feature a toy store that sells toys from far away places, a bar that sells various types of colored milk to drink, and the entire space port area will have a feel that there is danger at every turn.

This will be an immersive area. Guest go to the planet of Batuu, where Star Wars characters and their stories will come to life. The main entrance to the area is from the new Grand Avenue area of Hollywood Studios. Another entrance will be from the new Toy Story Land.

Two major attractions anchor the new land. On one ride you fly the Millennium Falcon on an adventure. The second attraction puts you in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
