
‘Hocus Pocus’ getting 25th anniversary celebration
“Hocus Pocus,” the 1993 Disney cult film, will be getting a 25th-anniversary celebration this Halloween on Freeform.
Freeform, which is owned by Disney, hasn’t said more about the specifics of the celebration other than it will happen, and the annual Halloween programming will expand the 13 nights of Halloween to 31 nights of Halloween.

The movie focuses on a trio of witches, Winifred, Sarah and Mary, who are resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror. The witches are played by But how well do you know the movie, which stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy?
The witches are the centerpiece of a phenomenal stage show during the specially-ticketed Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It’s not known yet, whether there will be something special happening at the party in honor of film’s 25th anniversary.
