Details for Disney’s expanded Night of Joy released
Disney has released more details on what guests can expect as the Night of Joy Christian music festival moves to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex next month.
The move from the Magic Kingdom allows a greatly expanded lineup of entertainment, including family activities such as sports and video games, as well as the addition of Christian comedians to the lineup. Tickets for the event start at $39.
A few of the new things guests can look for:
Fields of Joy: The sports fields at the ESPN complex will be home to a variety of sports challenges. Guests can clock their pitching arms, kick a field goal, make free throws or join a game of 4v4 soccer.
FanFest: At Jostens Center, guests will find an interactive area including video games, “60-second challenges,” Imagination Playground and “oversized versions of popular games such as foosball, connect four and chess.”
Character greetings: Mickey and Minnie Mouse and some of their friends will be available each night from 5-11 p.m.
