Disney World’s latest permits show possible location of new Star Wars hotel

Walt Disney World has filed permits to clear land adjacent to Hollywood Studios, which only leads us to believe this will be the location for the new immersive Star Wars hotel.

Disney has previously announced that it would be building a hotel that would be “seamlessly connected” to the new 14-acre Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land opening in 2019 at Disney World.

A permit was filed by Disney with the South Florida Water Management District to clear the 9.5 acres of land for what is called “Project H.”

The location is outside Hollywood Studios near Osceola Parkway and World Drive. The new configuration of Hollywood Studios would have the proposed hotel directtly south of  Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. No other information is placed on the permits,
