Photos: Millennium Falcon, X-wing Starfighter in development for new Star Wars land

Disney has released photos showing work taking place on the construction of the Millennium Falcon and an X-wing Starfighter that will appear at both Star Wars lands at Disney World and Disneyland.

The new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands at the two U.S. theme parks are scheduled to open in 2019. Disneyland will most likely open first and Disney World later in the year.

The X-wings being built to help bring authenticity for people to look at, touch and get a sense of what these ships are like.

The Millenium Falcon, which is as iconic in the Star Wars lore as the characters, will be part of an attraction where you will be able to pilot it on a critical mission.
