Disney World to increase prices, here’s what to expect

In recent years, February has been the month that Disney World announces its price increase and this year does not appear to be any different.

According to the Disney blogopshere, Disney World will increase its ticket prices starting Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018. This has not yet been confirmed by Disney.

Increases for one-day tickets range from $2 a day for the value season to $5 for the peak season. A couple of years ago Disney introduced a tiered system for the daily tickets depending on the time of year. Multi-day tickets do not have any tiers.

Here is what to expect with the increase:

Single Day Tickets

Magic Kingdom

Value tier: $107 to $109

Regular tier: $115 to $119

Peak tier: $124 to $129

Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot

Value tier: $99 to $102

Regular tier: $107 to $114

Peak tier: $119 to $122

Park Hopper

Value tier:  $162 to $164

Regular tier: $170 to $174

Peak tier: $174 to $184

Multi-Day Tickets

First use of tickets must be by 12/31/2019 and expires 14 days after first use. One theme park per day.

2 days – $199 to $209

0 to $400; Florida Residents, $219 to $229

3 days – $289 to $325; Florida Residents, $199 to $209

4 days – $350 to $400; Florida Residents, $219 to $229

5 days – $370 to $415

Annual Pass

Disney Silver Pass (Florida resident only pass)

$419 to $439

Renewal $356 to $373

Disney Gold Pass (Florida resident and DVC member only pass)

$559 to $589

Renewal $475 to 500

Disney Platinum Pass

Florida resident – $679 to $729
