First official photo of Star Wars Millennium Falcon at Disneyland released
Excitement is building for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Now, the Disney Parks has released this official close-up photo of the Millenium Falcon at Disneyland on Instagram.
Previously we showed you a completed Millennium Falcon from the air and construction of the ship at Hollywood Studios in Disney World.
Disneyland construction of the new 14-acre land is a few months ahead of Disney World. Disneyland is expected to open during the summer of 2019 and Disney World is expected to open in late fall 2019.
The Millennium Falcon ride will be called Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and will put guests behind the controls of the Millennium. Each crew of four will have specific tasks as the crew goes on a mission. Unlike other rides – such as Mission Space, where you press buttons, but the simulation is the same – the buttons you push and the decisions you make will have various consequences.
