Celebrities, special projections announced for Star Wars Galactic Nights
Warwick Davis will be among the celebrities attending Star Wars Galactic Nights at Hollywood Studios in Disney World.
In addition to the Davis, who has played several roles over the Star Wars saga, including Wicket the Ewok in “Return of the Jedi,” the Hollywood Tower Hotel will transform to stunning locations in the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars Galactic Nights is a special ticketed event which will take Dec. 16, 2017 from 7 p.m. to midnight. It is being held a day after “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is released.
In addition, actor David Collins will host a special “Inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” panel discussion with members of the Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm team.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the panel will include Scott Trowbridge, Portfolio Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering; Robin Reardon, Executive Creative Producer at Walt Disney Imagineering; Chris Beatty, Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering and Doug Chiang, VP/Creative Director at Lucasfilm, will give guests an inside look at the making of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands currently under construction at Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.
During the night Star Wars: Galactic Destinations will take place along Sunset Boulevard with the facade of the Hollywood Tower Hotel transformed to showcase locations from across the Star Wars galaxy.
