“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is Walt Disney’s first full-length feature animated film.
This adaptation of the Brothers Gimm fairy tale features the Evil Queen who attempts to have her stepdaughter Snow White murdered to become the fairest in the land, but Snow White escapes, lives with dwarfs in the forest and the adventure continues.
The film, which premiered on Dec. 21, 1937 and released into theaters on Feb. 8, 1938, also features the Evil Queen’s sidekick – the Magic Mirror. The Mirror is destined to serve whoever owns it, and has this week’s Disney Movie Quote.
