Coming soon: A Disney Tsum-Tsum subscription service

Subscription boxes used to mean a “fruit of the month club.” But now they can anything — wine, cosmetics, teas, shaving gear … and, soon, Tsum-Tsums.

Disney’s collectible craze will soon include a subscription service. For $24.95 a month (including shipping), you’ll receive one small plush and one coordinating “subscription exclusive” mini-plush.

Keep an eye out, because Disney says subscription quantities will be limited, and there will be a limit of two subscriptions per guest.

Sadly, it does not appear that this will solve the problem of being shut out from new releases — like when the “Nightmare Before Christmas” collection sold out without hours of their debut last week. (You can still find them on Amazon.com and eBay, but at a marked-up price.)
