D23 events announced for Disney World in 2015
D23, the official Disney fan club, has announced it is bringing special events to Disney World, including a special movie, shopping and culinary events.
Here’s a look at the schedule:
April 18: D23 Gold and Silver members will be able to enjoy animated classic “Sleeping Beauty” on the big screen with special guest, animator and Walt Disney World Creative Designer Lon Smart. Members will also receive a special journal designed to look like the ornate storybook at the beginning of the film.
June 6: D23’s Steven Vagnini will present a look at the making of “The Parent Trap” with rarely seen photographs and imagery at the AMC Downtown Disney 24 at Downtown Disney.
June 6: Mickey’s of Glendale Orlando Shopping Event. The Walt Disney Imagineering store is opening up a pop-up shop for D23 Gold and Silver Members. The location is still to be determined.
October 3: A culinary special event will be presented at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival with a continental breakfast and guest speakers.
November 14:
Mickey’s of Glendale Orlando Shopping Event. The Walt Disney Imagineering store is opening up a pop-up shop for D23 Gold and Silver Members. The location is still to be determined.
