The park becomes a living breathing art gallery where nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyworld.disney.go.com\/attractions\/epcot\/flower-garden-topiaries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">100 topiary sculptures <\/a>stand as part of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">From the moment guests step through the front gates, they are immersed in a world where familiar characters and abstract forms blossomed from meticulously crafted plant life. A 14-foot tall, 8-foot wide Maui, his powerful form rendered in shades of green and brown, commanded attention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">These aren’t static displays; they are living, breathing works of art, subtly changing and growing throughout the festival’s run from March 5 to June 2, 2025. class=\"\">Mickey and his friends, Chip and Dale, Minnie, and Pluto are all setting up for a picnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The creation of these verdant sculptures was a marvel of its own. A traditional woody topiary might take a decade to reach its full potential. But Disney has found a way to cut back using sphagnum moss. A sturdy metal frame serves as the skeletal foundation, its interior packed with sphagnum moss, a spongy, water-retaining material imported from New Zealand. Once the moss-filled frame was complete, the real magic began. Horticulturalists, with an artist\u2019s eye, carefully placed a variety of plants into holes in the moss, creating a tapestry of color, texture, and environmental nuance. Each leaf, each bloom, was chosen to contribute to the overall effect, transforming the metal and moss into recognizable characters and intricate geometric forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
