{"id":3797,"date":"2013-02-21T12:38:00","date_gmt":"2013-02-21T12:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/disneydiary.com\/\/2013\/02\/21\/disney-names-joffreys-officia\/"},"modified":"2017-10-19T23:19:23","modified_gmt":"2017-10-19T23:19:23","slug":"disney-names-joffreys-officia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/disneydiary.com\/2013\/02\/disney-names-joffreys-officia\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney names Joffrey’s official specialty coffee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For all of those who have complained about coffee at the Disney parks, this may be your answer and we’re not talking Starbucks<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/disneydiary.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/joffreys.png\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/disneydiary.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/joffreys.png\" \/><\/a>There’s a new coffee in town at the Disney parks: Joffrey\u2019s Coffee & Tea Co.<\/p>\n<p>Disney has entered into a long term alliance with the specialty coffee company that makes it the official specialty coffee of Disneyland, Disney World and the Disney Vacation Club properties, according to a news release from Disney.<\/p>\n<p>This is <a href=\"http:\/\/disneydiary.com\/\/2012\/04\/25\/starbucks-is-coming-to-disney-but-where\/\">in addition to the Starbucks <\/a>opening in the parks.<\/p>\n<p>For years there have been complaints on the quality of the coffee in the parks. Nestle is a corporate sponsor, and Nescafe coffee is sold in many places, which to the coffee aficionado is nothing more than water.<\/p>\n<p>Joffrey\u2019s has been operating coffee kiosks in Disney World since 1995 but now they will be expand and even create special blends of coffee just for Disney guests that will be available at additional locations, including quick-service restaurants and in-room coffee service.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cWe are thrilled to be creating unique coffee blends exclusively for Disney guests,\u201d Chris de Mezzo, Joffrey\u2019s roastmaster and chief operating officer said in the release.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #444444; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px 20px 20px 0px; vertical-align: baseline;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #444444; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px 20px 20px 0px; vertical-align: baseline;\">\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For all of those who have complained about coffee at the Disney parks, this may be your answer and we’re not talking Starbucks There’s a new coffee in town at the Disney parks: Joffrey\u2019s Coffee & Tea Co.
