2 new experiences coming to the Play Disney Parks app
The Play Disney Parks mobile app, which is taking over as the new interactive queue at Walt Disney World to help pass the wait time, is adding two new interactive experiences, Disney announced.
The first new experience will also be the first experience to take place at a Disney Resort.
Stories of the Enchanted Gallery will allow you to bring the art-filled walls of the Art of Animation Resort lobby to life while checking in or enjoying your stay. Through the app, you’ll be able to create themed art that transforms into living, breathing stories inspired by “Finding Nemo,” “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Cars.”
The second experience takes place at Animal Kingdom. The ACE Guide to Pandora: Valley of Mo’ara Edition will let guests join Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE) on a journey as you explore the colors, cultures and creatures of Pandora. You’ll be able to scan your surroundings for exotic lifeforms, create indigenous music and experience other interactive gameplay, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
You will be able to play with this anywhere in park, but is especially when waiting in line for the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction.
There will also be new achievements as part of the new experience.
