Disney planning on adding new mission for Star Tours ride at Disneyland and Disney World

Disney is working on adding a new adventure to Star Tours – the Adventures Continue ride at Disneyland and Disney World.

Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek said during D23: Destination D presentation, conference for D23, the official fan club for The Walt Disney Company, that Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm are currently working on adding a new mission to the ride based on elements from Star Wars Episode VIII, due out in 2017.
