Disney World introducing new ice cream social and viewing party

Disney World is finally adding a pressert viewing party at the Magic Kingdom.

In a twist to the normal dessert viewing party for nighttime parades and fireworks, Magic Kingdom will start offering and afternoon version. “Tiana’s Riverboat Party Ice Cream Social & Parade Viewing” will debut Nov. 29, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

The party will take place at the boat dock of Liberty Belle Riverboat where guests have hand-dipped ice cream and soft drinks while they visit with Princess Tiana and Naveen.

Guests then board the riverboat for a birds-eye-view of the Festival of Fantasy Parade and a cruise around Tom Sawyer’s Island. Princess Tiana and Naveen will join the group after the parade for photos.

The cost for the party is $49 per adult and $29 per child age 9 and under (includes tax). Reservations can be made now by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
