Opening night fan event planned for ‘Beauty and the Beast’
There will be some special extras and events taking place at theaters on opening night of Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast” in March.
About 590 theaters in the U.S. with with IMAX, Dolby Cinema and other large formats, will show special behind-the-scenes on-screen features and the Ariana Grande and John Legend’s music video for the movie prior to the 7 p.m. shows.
The theaters include AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Marcus and Wehrenberg.

The move stars Emma Watson as Belle, an independent book nerd taken prisoner by a Beast, San Stevens, in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart of the true Prince within. The movie has not only the songs for the original animated movie, but additional music written for the live-action version.
