Road closures due to the Disney Princess Half Marathon 2025
There will be some road closures around Walt Disney World this weekend due to the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2025.
Most of the closings should not impact those heading to the theme parks, but if you would like to get a very early start, you might find yourself a little delayed. World Drive, the main thoroughfare around the resort, should be back open on Saturday, Feb. 22, by 8 a.m. after the 10K. On Sunday, Feb. 23, the day of the half marathon, all roads should be open by 10 a.m. after the half marathon. EPCOT is changing its opening time to 10 a.m. for the general public and 9:30 a.m. for Early Entry.
The race weekend, which focuses on women’s empowerment, consists of a 5K, Saturday’s 10K, and then the half marathon on Sunday. There’s also the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge (10K and half-marathon).
For additional race information, check out the runner’s digital guide.
