Disney Springs updates amphicar, boat, balloon rides for Drone Show
The new “Disney Dreams That Soar” drone show, which debuts on May 24 at Disney Springs, will impact the operating hours of several offerings.
The 9-minute drone show will take place twice nightly, once at 9 p.m. and the other at 10:45 p.m. Viewing areas for the show are located on Disney Springs West Side and along the waterfront between the Cirque du Soleil Theatre and Aerophile.
To accommodate the show, the Sassagoula River Cruise will end earlier each night to make way for the show. The final boats from Port Orleans—French Quarter and Riverside, Old Key West, and Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs will depart at 7:30 p.m. The last return boat from Disney Springs to these resorts will leave at 8 p.m. Bus transportation to the resorts will still be available.
In addition, the Aerophile balloon flight and the Vintage Amphicar Tours at the Boathouse will also close at 8 p.m. each evening in preparation for the show.
