Officially opening on Nov. 10, the Adventureland Treehouse at Disneyland, pays homage to the original treehouse conceived by Walt Disney and his visionary Imagineers in 1962 as a tribute to the timeless classic film, “Swiss Family Robinson.” But this modern incarnation brings an exciting twist to the narrative, breathing new life into this cherished Disney attraction.
Visitors will embark on an enchanting journey through the Robinson family’s ingenious world. A stone stairway leads guests up to their leafy haven, offering a warm welcome and a glimpse of the iconic waterwheel powered by a babbling brook. The ingenious pulley system, designed by the family, transports water high into the tree, energizing their array of gadgets and inventions.
Disney has released a number of photos to provide a tour of the Adventureland Treehouse, nestled among the grand boughs of the tower trees.
