2024 Disney Dining prices released, comparison to previous years

The 2024 Disney Dining prices have been released and there might be some sticker shock when looking at the adult price for the plan with table service, but overall the increases are very reasonable compared to inflation we’ve seen with food costs.

The price for the 2024 Disney Dining Plan for adults is $94.28 and for those ages 3 to 9 is $29.69. The Quick Service Plan for adults is $57.01 and for those ages 3 to 9 is $23.83. This is per day, per person in your party. (See the full chart for prices back to 2013 below).

This is a 20.85% increase for adults in the Dining Plan from the 2020 prices (the last year it was offered), and a decrease of 2.69% for kids. For the Quick Service Plan, adult prices increased only by 3.65% and kids prices decreased by 8.3%.

This is all good news, considering how much food prices have skyrocketed since COVID-19 pandemic. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, which publishes the Consumer Price Index, the basis for the most commonly cited consumer inflation statistics, from 2020 to 2023, the inflation rate for limited-service meals (let’s say Quick Service) is up 23.6%, while the price of full-service meals (let’s Table Service) has gone up 20%.

As you can see the increases Disney instituted are less than inflation rate with the exception of adult Dining Plan. (Here’s more detail on inflation and Disney food costs.)

So, what do you get for your money? Each plan is per guest, per night of your stay.

On the Disney Dining Plan, each person receives per each night of your stay:

• 1 Table-Service meal
• 1 Quick-Service meal
• 1 non-alcoholic/alcoholic drink per meal
• 1 selected snack or drink
• Resort-refillable mug

On the Quick Service Plan, each person receives per each night of your stay:

• 2 Quick-Service meals
• 1 non-alcoholic/alcoholic drink per meal
• 1 selected snack or drink
• Resort-refillable mug
