3 favorite Fantasyland rides in Disneyland closing for refurbishment

Peter Pan’s Flight, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and Alice in Wonderland in Disneyland will all be closing for refurbishment starting on June 5, 2023, according to the Disneyland website.

The trio of rides are located in the same building in the Fantasyland area of Disneyland.

There is is no indication when the rides will reopen. The Disneyland calendar does not go beyond the early part of June.

Currentlty, the Matterhorn Bobsleds are closed for refubishment and is expected to reopen on June 1. In addition, the former Tarzen Treehouse is undergoing a major refurbishment to become the new Adventureland Treehouse, inspired by Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson and is expected to reopen later this year.

Splash Mountain will close on May 31 and will reopen as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in late 2024.
