Classic version of Space Mountain at Disneyland returns June 1

Space Mountain at Disneyland will come out of hyperspace this June and revet back to the classic roller coaster version.

“Hyperspace Mountain,” based on the “Star Wars” movies has been running since November 2015.

Starting June 1, 2017, shortly after the attractions turns 40 years old, it will revert back to the classic ride.

In Hyperspace Mountain, the ride starts with a briefing from Admiral Ackbar . An X-wing squadron escorts you into hyperspace. You arrive at your destination to find the Star Destroyer waiting for you, surrounded by a swarm of TIE fighters. As the Rebels battle the vessels, you’re caught up in a barrage of baster fire.
