Disney World 2023 tickets, resort bookings go on sale starting June 8

The booking window for Walt Disney World theme park tickets and Disney Resort stay and packages for visits in 2023 begin on June 8.

Advanced planning is usually a must when planning a visit. Remember, Disney will continue celebrating its 50th anniversary through the end of March 2023. There are a number of new and returning attractions, shops and shows coming to Disney World the remainder of this year. In addition, we should learn at the D23 Expo in September what will be coming in 2023 and beyond.

In the new year the early theme park entry benefit for Disney Resort hotel guests will continue beyond the 50th Anniversary for visits throughout all of 2023. This benefit gives Disney Resort guests an opportunity to enter any of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort theme parks to enjoy select attractions, shops and dining every day (valid admission, park reservation and Resort ID required).

As we reported earlier there will also be some changes in when you can purchase Disney Genie+. Starting June 8, 2022, you will only be able to purchase the Disney Genie+ service, the service that allows you to use Lightning Lanes, through the My Disney Experience app only on the day of your visit to Walt Disney World. You will no longer be able to purchase it in advance as a ticket add on.

If you already know when you want to go on your vacation in 2023, you can contact our travel partners now and they will jump on making your reservations as soon as the lines open on June 8. Here is the form:
