Monorails get special nighttime enhancement for 50th anniversary

Disney debuted a new 50th-anniversary enhancement to the monorails – glowing lights.

For the next 18 months during Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration each monorail train has received glowing lights that will shine at night. The lights match each of the train’s colors.

This is one part of the many nighttime enhancements coming to Disney World, including the addition to the Electrical Water Pageant and Beacons of Magic at each of the parks.
