First look: New Mickey Mouse mural inside the Creations Shop

A hand-painted mural featuring Mickey Mouse will be part of the new Creations Shop, the main souvenir shop coming to EPCOT, Disney Imagineer announced on his Instagram page.

Murals have a rich history in EPCOT. They can be found at Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land and throughout the World Showcase. This new mural continues that legacy, he wrote.

The new mural spans 35 feet and is placed on the south end of the shop. It features Mickey Mouse in dynamic poses through a prism of colors and is called “Mouse in Motion!”

No specific date has yet been announced for the opening of the shop, other than “summer.” Summer officially ends on Sept. 22.
