New images of Mark Hamill released for upcoming ‘Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian’ episode
One of the biggest moments in last year’s Season 2 finale of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian,” was the appearance of a young Luke Skywalker. It was one of the biggest reveals and best-kept secrets of the acclaimed show thus far.
In next week’s special extra episode of “Disney Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian” released on Aug. 25 on Disney+ we will get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this epic moment.
Mark Hamill returned to film the sequence and then was digitally made to look younger.
Here are some of the new images released from that episode. In addition, in the video below Executive Producer Dave Filoni talks about the good feeling Star Wars brings.
“This job is great in so many ways, and I think people think the job is great because we get to tell the story…..because we get these experiences,” he said.
“You see your crew staring at Mark, and you realize they’re remembering what it meant to them.
“And you realize that you’ve been part of constructing something that’s giving that experience to people, this good feeling, which fundamentally, Star Wars should deliver a good feeling, an uplifting feeling, in you and your family, your kids, whatever.”
