Costume guidelines for your Disney After Hours Boo Bash attire

The Halloween season kicks off on August 10, 2021, at Magic Kingdom in Disney World with the Disney After Hours Boo Bash, and remember you can wear a costume if attending – even us big kids.

The specially-ticketed after hours event is taking place on select nights from Aug. 10 through Oct. 31 and features: special cavalcades, some favorite characters popping up, less lines for rides (since there are a smaller number of tickets available for the event) complimentary snacks in addition to trick or treating throughout the park and special food and merch as well.

The one big perk is that this is the one time of year, during this special event, that adults can wear a costume and in the past, during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party we witnessed some very impressive costumes.

Here are the complete Disney guidelines for wearing costumes. Just remember, that it is still full-blown summer in Florida, and temperatures even at night can be in the 70s. And, you never know when it might rain, so plan accordingly.

Disney After Hours Boo Bash Costume Guidelines

Ages 13 and under:

  • Costumes and some costume masks may be worn.
  • Masks must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.
